A Modern Taiwanese breakfast at 豐盛號

Two days prior, we had looked for this place and found a long line snaked around a corner.  We made it our mission to come back extra early later in the week and sure enough, we arrived at Shilin Station by 6:40am before the restaurant opened.  We still ended up having to line up and we weren’t seated until after 7:30am.  The restaurant is famous for having good breakfast sandwiches and milk tea. 

The sandwich was very good and my tea was also delicious.  But was it really worth waking up at 6:00am to eat?  I don’t think I’d do it again and certainly if I wasn’t on vacation, I would never have done this!
