Finding Out What The Fuss with The Breakfast Klub Is All About

On our last morning in Houston, we were set to visit The Breakfast Klub, a place recommended by many people for having some of the best breakfast foods in Houston.

We arrived shortly before the 8:00am opening time on a Saturday morning.  There were already about 30 people in line ahead of us and the place hadn’t even opened yet!

As soon as you lined up, a lady brought over a menu for you to look at and it wasn’t too long before we were finally in the door.  After entering the restaurant, we realized that the holdup was because you had to place your order and pay right at the entrance before you could go and sit down.  I decided to order their famous Wings & Waffles, except I’ve never been much of a waffles person, so they were able to replace the waffles with French toast for me.

Once we found a table, our next mission was to make it up to the self-serve coffee area where there were about 5 or 6 different kinds of coffees to choose from.  Unfortunately, although it was barely after 8:00am, most of the coffee canisters were already empty, so it didn’t leave us with much choice as to which one we could have.  The self-serve area was also where the butter, sugar, jams and syrup were kept, so it is up to you to bring whatever you wanted back to your tables.

The Wings & French Toast were both delicious and I’m so happy we made the decision to order deep fried food for breakfast!  The wings were seasoned very similarly to Chinese style chicken wings and the French toast was fluffy and light.  Overall a very satisfying breakfast and I can see why people love this place.
