Hotel Review: Hostel 1632

Since the property was called Hostel 1632, I wasn’t sure what to expect.  We booked a triple room which consisted of a double bed and a single bed.  The room was small, but it was still sufficient for a one night’s stay.  If you are planning on staying longer than one night, I wouldn’t recommend booking into such a small room.

The beds were very comfortable, the room had air conditioning and the staff were very friendly.  We only intended to stay here for one night, but one of my friends got quite sick the first day and ended up booking a single room for the second night while my other friend and I went to another part of the country for a couple of days.  When we returned to the hostel a couple of days later, I realized that I had left an important folder with our plane tickets in the first room and the staff had put it aside for us, which helped us avoid all sorts of problems at the airport.

The bathroom was probably the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in my life as there was barely room to open the door.  They also didn’t have anywhere to hang your towels and clothes when you were showering so that was a bit inconvenient.

The hostel is located on a somewhat busy road and depending on which side of the hotel your room is on, it could get quite loud at night.
