As someone who doesn’t drink wine, I wasn’t sure what my sister was thinking when she decided to have her wedding at a winery. But then again, it offered a chance for us to see a place that we would otherwise not have visited.
On our second day in Kelowna, we made our way to Summerhill, where my sister would be tying the knot a few days later. I had previously seen some pictures that she had sent me but seeing the place in person was definitely much better. It was a beautiful day, which contributed to the wonderful views we were able to witness.
After a brief tour of the grounds, we were treated to a lovely lunch at the winery.
A few days later, we had a free afternoon and decided to go and visit Mission Hill winery to compare it to Summerhill. It turned out to be quite different from Summerhill. Both had their own unique charm and were equally as nice.
