Considered the largest public park in Xiamen, it is also one of China’s national key parks (whatever that means). I do know that that park is beautiful and has a great deal of greenery. It also consists of a fountain, a lake, a square and several unique statues including this one of The Goddess of Bailu. Apparently, the Goddess is from a local folk legend, and has blessed the local fisherman for hundreds of years, and is regarded as an icon of beauty.
We walked around the park leisurely in about 30 minutes. However, if you have a free afternoon and would like to just sit and enjoy a picnic, I think this would be a wonderful place to do that.
