Review of Zhuhai Ocean Spring Resort 珠海海泉湾

For one of our team building events, we were fortunate enough to visit Zhuhai’s Ocean Spring Resort. We didn’t have the best weather, but aside from that, I almost felt like I was on Hainan Island instead of in Zhuhai.  I had no idea such a resort existed, and from the looks of it, not many people did because this place was pretty empty the entire time we were there.

The lobby was reminiscent of a 5 star hotel and it actually reminded me a bit of the resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean that I’d been to before.  The check-in process was seamless and not before long we all had the keys to each of our rooms.

The rooms were very large and the bathrooms were amongst the nicest I’ve seen in China.  Each room had a small balcony with a small table and 2 chairs.  The view from our room overlooked the rest of the resort.

After awhile, we decided to explore the grounds and discovered that the resort was so large that there were service trolleys to take you from one place to the next.  Our first stop was the water, but it was so windy and cold that we didn’t stay for very long.

We didn’t leave the resort for the entire day, so all of our meals were eaten at the restaurants on location.  After supper, we all attended a show at the resort.  It was similar to a Cirque show, so was very enjoyable.

It was a wonderful couple of days spent relaxing, enjoying good food and company.
