We knew that there was going to be some live music starting around 8:15pm at Lot 33, but we were starving by 7pm, and decided to head there early. There were to be 4 live performances by 3 different bands that night. We had intended to stay for the first couple and then thought we’d head back to the hotel as we’d had quite a long day. However, the performances got progressively better and better, so we ended up staying for all 4! Some of the singers attempted some English songs as well, but 90% of the performances were in Mandarin or Taiwanese.
We had dinner here and ended up ordering 3 dishes between the two of us. We were about to order a 4th when the waiter suggested that 3 would be enough for us. So we were expecting huge portions, but in reality, the plates were tiny and one of the items we ordered was actually just a snack so we definitely could have had a 4th item. The quality of the food was very good, but portions definitely could have been larger.
