Prior to traveling to Seattle, I had read up on Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and knew that it was at the very top of my list for places I wanted to visit. Even having read up on it, I wasn’t expecting to find such a big organization and all that it is currently doing to help the less fortunate. It was a very inspiring visit and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about what the foundation has done and what they are continuing to do to provide aid.
There were 4 sections of the museum and 2 of them included interactive activities. This particular station encouraged you to think about what you would do to help, if you had the means to. You type in your answer and it appears on the screen. Here is my answer:
It wasn’t a very busy afternoon when we visited, but this place is known to accept a great deal of school groups.
I would highly recommend spending some time at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation if you have a little bit of time to spare.
