Busan Aquarium

Compared to Seoul, Busan is quite a bit smaller and definitely didn’t have as much going on in terms of shopping and attractions.  We had some free time and decided to visit the Busan Aquarium and this turned out to be a great choice for a way to spend the day.

The aquarium is a good size and is considered one of Korea’s top aquariums.  In my opinion, the tunnel of any aquarium is always the most impressive for me, so I was quite excited to walk through this tunnel.

The aquarium has an impressive display of over 35,000 species of fish, reptiles and amphibians.  It has a total of three levels and we probably spent a couple of hours walking through the whole place at a leisurely pace.

We were also able to catch one of the underwater shows that were put on by the divers.

Visiting the aquarium was a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours.  There were quite a few families around, as this is obviously one of the best family activities to take in.
