Kalare Night Bazaar

I was expecting a totally chaotic night market like some of the ones in Bangkok, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Chiang Mai Night Bazaar was surprisingly organized.

As it is located quick close to our hotel, we first made our way there during the day to take a look.  During the day, only the stores were open and there really wasn’t much going on until about 6:00pm, when it was supposed to start.  Actually, some stalls were set up by 5:00pm, but some were still being set up at 7:30pm, so I guess it really just depends on the owner.  The bazaar stays open until around 11:30pm

There were all sorts of neat finds available, alongside tons of little restaurants, cafes, etc.   Makes for a great night out!
