I had walked past this place in Mongkok several times before and when we were looking for a quick bite to eat after a day of shopping, we decided to try this place out.  It turns out that their menu included a large appetizer section, which was exactly what we were looking for as we were hoping to have a light snack before a later supper.

We decided on 4 items and every single one of them turned out to be fantastic!

We started with the Hokkaido Fried Cheese (北海道芝心餅), which was rich, savoury and delicious.  Then came the XO Sauce Daikon Cake (XO醬炒蘿蔔糕), which is one of my favourites.  Next, we had some Fried tofu (椒鹽脆豆腐), another personal favourite of mine and finally finished with some shrimp rolls (脆蝦棒)

The food was exactly what we were hoping for and was a great afternoon snack choice for us.  Each table also had service buttons, which I had gotten used to in Korea, and often why someone at home hasn’t invented this yet.  The difference is that this restaurant had the most detailed service buttons I had ever seen .  As you can see, there were 4 different types of requests, plus a cancel button.  I guess it must be too difficult just to tell the waiter/waitress what you are wanting when they arrive at your table?
